I feel lucky to have roots in a nation that is rich in tradition in many aspects..from food, desserts and even trucks and buses. Pakistan is famous for it's truck art. Established in the 1920's bus companies commissioned craftsmen to decorate their buses in an effort to attract customers and this art of decoration was soon taken on by the truckers and the rickshaw drivers too.
There is nothing quite like the amazing and intricate work they do on these trucks...
I got the opportunity to recreate one of these trucks for someone's surprise birthday party. This is my humble representation of the wonderful world of truck art
The cake was a simple chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting. It was so much fun to make and was truly enjoyed by all!
