Mini cakes

With the imminent move from all things Philly, recently my four year old had his last day of school in Philadelphia and though we are on to bigger and better things, it was a bittersweet moment for me.
So I decided to make mini cakes for his teachers just as a little token for thanks for all the great times my son has had with them.

I made a mocha cake with a mocha icing and I wanted to keep the decoration minimalistic but spring/summery at the same time so topped them off with bright pink and orange sugar gerber daisies.
