White and Gold wedding cake

Long before there was even a sign of her getting married, a good friend of mine told me no matter what she wanted me to make her wedding cake.

Fast forward July 2013 and the highlight of my summer, her wedding! Simplistic at heart she wanted something simple yet elegant for her cake and that matched her beautiful gold and white wedding outfit.

It didn't take much to come up with a design that was her. The hardest part of this cake for me was to have it delivered from My town in Pennsylvania to the wedding reception in Virginia- on what was one of the HOTTEST weekends of the summer!!!But it made it in one piece and most important of all, she loved it!
